High efficiency windows can qualify for the Energy Tax Credit if properly ordered. When taxpayers purchase replacement windows in 2009 and 2010, that meet the energy efficiency requirements set forth by the legislation, they are eligible to receive a tax credit of up to 30% of the purchase amount.
